Our team

The service includes Genito Urinary Medicine (GUMed), Community Contraception and Team Chlamydia.

What we do

  • Screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
  • Management of HIV positive clients
  • Contraceptive services
  • Smear tests
  • Emergency contraception

All services are free and confidential through self referral.
 
Patients aged between 16 and 24 years can visit www.gettested.nhs.uk to request a free postal kit to test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea.

Additional Opening Times:
The team offer Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing on a simple urine sample or swab to all patients aged between 15 and 24 years. The service is free and confidential and a nurse is available to offer advice and signpost patients if necessary. Monday – Friday: 8.30 – 16.30 (answer machine outside these hours)
