Macclesfield District General Hospital

Description

East Cheshire NHS Trust was established in 2002, and operates three hospitals - in Macclesfield, Knutsford and Congleton.

Macclesfield District General Hospital, a modern, purpose built hospital, was opened in the 1980s, replacing a much older, traditional infirmary.

A range of services are housed at the hospital, including accident and emergency, maternity, outpatients and the Macmillan Cancer Resource Centre
