The Storehouse Foodbank

Description

The Storehouse is a free foodbank operated by New Life Church from our Danesford Community Centre in Congleton for emergency or extreme hardship situations.

Access to the service is through obtaining a Storehouse FOOD Referral 2012 from one of over 70 caring and support organisations and agencies working in our community e.g. Plus Dane Housing, Adullam Homes, Social Services, Mental Health Teams, Barnabus, Great Places, Aspire, Sanctuary Housing, CAB, Richmond Fellowship and many others.

Referrals can be made and submitted online via the website . If you have any problems please telephone the church office 01260 297961 any weekday between 8am and 4pm

When is the Storehouse open?
Referrals are processed to give food out on Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm unless an exceptional arrangement is made. New Life Church services are not accessible during school holidays and bank holidays. A rota will be in effect during these periods stating what days and times it will be possible to collect food parcels. If you would like to be added to New Life’s distribution list for these rota’s, please email Julie.thomas@nlchurch.org.uk with your name, Team Name and email address and we can add you on.

NOTE: Details of Summer Schedule for Food Parcels to follow.

How can I support The Storehouse?

Keeping the foodbank stocked with food is a constant need. All the food is generously donated by individuals, other churches, groups and some businesses in our local community. Some prefer to donate finance so appropriate food can be purchased. If you would like to help, you can bring your donation to New Life Church or if you wish to discuss or donate finance please contact us.
