Cre8 - Learning Plus education project

Learning Plus is our education project which works with young people who are severely struggling with the challenges of mainstream education to such a degree that it affects their behaviour and attendance at school.

Our aim is to help these young people to grow in self-awareness, self-esteem and interpersonal skills through our nurturing 1:1 approach and so be equipped to reconnect and be more engaged at school.

Each session is two hours long and is delivered by our well trained team of session workers in a one to one setting during term time only.

Sessions teach life skills and begin to deal with issues such as anger management, low self-worth and lack of confidence depending on the needs of the young person. Learning Plus shows young people that they are valued and that people are interested in their contributions.

We are a NOCN (National Open College Network) accredited centre offering Awards and individual credits in Level 1 courses in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development.

Established in 2005, Cre8 is an award winning charity which promotes learning, work and community building through activities and projects with children, young people and their families. Cre8 has been particularly successful in engaging hard-to-reach and NEET (Not In Education, Employment or Training) individuals and their families and involving them in making positive contributions to their communities.

We will send out a referral pack on enquiry, which includes our charging policy.
