Cheshire East Domestic Abuse Hub (CEDAH)

Description

CEDAH is a 24 hour point of contact for anyone experiencing domestic abuse or anyone concerned for others. 

CEDAH provides information, a helpline and onward referral for any family member - adults who are harmed and those who are hurting others as well as children and young people. People are assessed according to risk and need and the right combination of services is put in place for the whole family.

This is a central telephone, text and email service covering the whole of Cheshire East.  People who want or need help are referred to Council or commissioned services in the community.

The service is staffed during office hours by dedicated staff and this is the best time to ring for a lengthy conversation. At all other times help is available to those needing immediate support to be safe.
