Aspergers Social Skills Group

Description

Aspergers Social Skills Group for Children aged 8-14 and Teenagers aged 14-18

We offer a range of social skills groups and social groups specifically for children and teenagers aged between 8-18. The groups aim to improve social skills at this critical time in a child’s life and also provide the opportunity to meet others with similar difficulties and strengths.

The groups are held twice monthly alternating between Speech and Language Therapist sessions and exciting social outings where new skills learnt can be put into practice!

Not only do these groups make a huge positive impact on the individual with Asperger’s Syndrome but also provide an essential break for families and carers.

Aspergers Social Skills Group for Adults

Carers Trust 4all provides social skills groups for adults with Asperger’s to enable them to improve their social skills and meet others with similar difficulties and strengths.

The groups are managed by Carers Trust 4all, with individual group sessions facilitated by a qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
The benefits of this service are not only to improve the social skills, confidence and independence of the adults attending, but also to offer essential breaks to families and carers.
