Traineeship/Extended Work Placement

Description

Changing Education offers three work-based learning programmes:

  • Extended Work Placements
  • Traineeship (Work Skills Qualifications)
  • SEN Placements

As part of our extended work placements and BTEC qualification, we incorporate transition mentoring as part of the programme so students are supported at every step of their journey.  Alongside access to apprenticeship opportunities, we can assist in the pastoral support of students.

The traineeship programme incorporates transition mentoring along with access to apprenticeship opportunities.  Through traineeships, we aim to ensure that students who struggle in classroom environments still leave school with useful qualifications and excellent prospects for employment or further education.  Our transition mentoring provides students with access to apprenticeships and the right progression routes.  We continuously support students and parents through the journey from education to employment.
