Community Bike Project


Working with young people and volunteers, Dr Bike Service, coordinating family bike rides, servicing and repairs.

Community Recycle Cycles is a not for profit, volunteer run bicycle shop based in Crewe, Cheshire.

Our main goals:

  • To refurbish and recycle donated bikes from the general public and sell them at an affordable cost.
  • To provide an affordable bicycle repair service to the community.
  • To provide volunteering opportunities and training in areas such as retail and bicycle repair.
  • To be predominantly self income generating, meaning we are not reliant on external funding.
  • To function on an ethical business model that seeks to improve the local community in Crewe, Nantwich and the surrounding area.
  • To promote cycling and the benefits of an active lifestyle.
  • To promote safe cycling among adults and children.
  • To provide a social environment for young and old alike, where a free cup of tea is always available.
