Goyt Valley House Care Home

Description

Goyt Valley House is a registered provider of living accommodation for people who require nursing or personal care. Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our clients as far as is practicable. We are committed to the principle of consultation and full involvement of clients (or their representatives) at all stages. Goyt Valley House is available to clients with a wide range of needs (older people/ mental illness/ dementia/ physical disability/ sensory, etc). Goyt Valley is set in the town of New Mills in the heart of the High Peak. It is in close proximity to amenities such as shops, hairdressers, restaurants and banks. Also close by are GP surgeries, clinics and podiatrists.

The High Peak boasts some lovely surrounding countryside and has bus services that access some quaint and interesting places in Derbyshire such as Buxton, Bakewell and Castleton. We provide a range of health and social care support in partnership with other agencies. We have a regular programme of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests. This includes the choice and opportunity for people to participate as fully as possible in local community activities. We support clients to maintain social links and participate as a citizen of the wider community, while ensuring their emotionally and social needs are respected. We have procedures in place to safeguard clients and allow them, or their representative, to raise any concerns or suggestions.

Everyone choosing to live at Goyt Valley House will have a personal service plan as a working document to identify their health and welfare needs, appropriate treatment, education and social need, preferred daily routine, likes and dislikes, dietary requirements, their interests and how they like to be addressed.
