Alsager U3A

The Alsager & District U3A (University of the Third Age) is part of a national and international voluntary learning co-operative whose aim is to encourage lifelong learning for mature people. The U3A offers the opportunity to make new friends, learn a new skill, visit places of interest or take up a new hobby.

Alsager & District U3A was set up at the beginning of 1998 as a self-help group, to provide educational, creative, leisure and social activities for members of the local community no longer in full time employment.

There are now more than 1000 members and 60 different groups ranging from Antiques to Yoga. Classes take place at different venues in Alsager Monday to Friday each week – please see our website for details of activities and how to become a member.
