Friends for Leisure - Holiday Activity Programme

Description

Disabled children and young people who are registered with Friends for Leisure can choose activities from our holiday programme. We provide a range of activity sessions during school holidays. Siblings welcome. We are unable to provide personal care.

Holiday activities will be held across the borough in community settings.

The young person needs to be registered with Friends for Leisure before taking part. Download the registration form on our website or contact the office.
Eligibility criteria:
All children and young people are aged 5 to 21 and have a disability, but this does not need a formal diagnosis. It can be a learning disability, sensory, physical or a mental health issue.
Cost:
Nominal costs for each activity
Waiting List:
Young people, once registered with Friends for Leisure, receive a termly brochure of arranged activities. They can then book onto the activities on a first-come, first-served basis. Our activities have a maximum of 16 places therefore once the session is full we operate a waiting list system for each session.
