Act On It - the site for safe relationships

Description

338 young people took part in a Domestic Abuse survey at the start of 2015. Although every participant could explain the term domestic abuse, only 15% thought it could happen to them – the rest thought domestic abuse was an adult only issue.

Statistically, those aged 16 – 25 are the most vulnerable to abusive relationships.

ACTONITNOW.CO.UK is Cheshire East’s response to this – a new site to educate young people on domestic abuse and how it can affect them, whilst also providing information and educational resources for adults.

ACT ON IT – was designed and created by young people; a call to action to help end abuse in teenage relationships and promote healthy relationships.
