Can Do — volunteer opportunities for disabled people

Description

Leonard Cheshire Disability's Can Do project has been set up for 16‑ to 35‑year-olds with disabilities wishing to volunteer in their local community. This can be a great way to become involved with your local community and develop your skills.

Can Do is open to young people with a long term health condition or disability, including physical, visual or hearing impairments, mental health conditions and learning disabilities like dyslexia and dyspraxia.

Can Do currently has projects in the following locations, with more planned in the future:

  • Merseyside
  • Newcastle-upon-Tyne
  • Newport, Wales
  • Portsmouth
  • Southend-on-Sea

  • Wrexham, Wales
  • Yorkshire
