Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme - Crewe

Leading youth charity the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme (DofE) gives all young people aged 14-24 the chance to develop skills for life and work, fulfil their potential and have a brighter future.
As a local contact The Youth Support Service (YSS) hold the licence for Cheshire East Council for DofE. This includes support to both schools and voluntary units in their implementation of the DofE, if they do not currently hold their own licence. As a service we also offer opportunities for young people to complete the award as well as offering opportunities to partake in outdoor education activities.
Our members enjoy loads of new experiences, discover talents they never thought they had, challenge themselves and meet loads of people just like you.  Plus they do things they love and get a kick out of it.
Achieving an Award will give you skills, confidence and a view on life that everyone is looking for, from employers to colleges and universities.
You're getting recognised for doing things you want to do (and may even be doing already). You’ll make a difference to other people’s lives and your community, be fitter and healthier, make new friends and have memories to last you a lifetime.
