Respect Education Programme

Description

A 9 week programme for 13-16 year olds run by staff from the Fire and Rescue Service, together with a further employee seconded fom Cheshire Police. 

The programme aims to build the young person's self esteem, team working skills and improve their behavior. The programme is aimed at young people who may be experiencing difficulties in engaging with school or their peers. They may have low self esteem or lack confidence. As a result they may be displaying anti social behavior including deliberate fire setting, malicious calls to the emergency services and at risk from school exclusion.
